Abstract

Among the documents that Aida Fernández has preserved from her time with the Teatro Experimental de Cali (TEC), she has kindly shared this letter with us; its remarkable content is, in our view, highly relevant to the theme of this issue. The text sheds light on how E. Buenaventura perceived the various elements that converge in the work of stage direction—a process that entails the complex formal construction of a drama, ultimately presented for the judgment of the audience.
