Abstract
Revisiting what has been learned is fundamental to building knowledge and history. This article proposes an exercise drawing upon emotional memory, the experience of the creative act and consciousness, and reflection on the process of grasping—or internalizing—knowledge as a strategy for analyzing, reviewing, and understanding the mimetic practice that underpins the creative work; in this instance, the work concerns the dramatic text *Nocturno para Laura F*, written by Fernando Vidal Medina and directed by Víctor Hugo Enríquez Lenis. It is worth noting that this exercise requires additional readings, experiences, and perspectives—and, above all, a sense of detachment—to prove truly fruitful and especially revealing for the actors involved.
