Abstract
In this free adaptation of Rodrigo García's Notas de cocina (Kitchen Notes), and through excerpts from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, a group of deceased individuals recounts how they destroyed the planet and how they consumed themselves before their demise. From their lives, they created their own hell: an overflowing consumer society, a frenzied cult of ego, and a trampling of one another as they sought to reach the “top” of the predatory circle in which everyone participated. Sometimes as humans and sometimes as beasts: centaurs.
