Abstract
Photographing performing arts is, for me, a way of silently conversing between movement and light. In theater, I find a language that needs no words: bodies that transform, lights that breathe, and emotions that exist only for an instant.
My camera becomes my gaze. I observe, I wait, I let myself be enveloped by the atmosphere of the stage until something happens: a gesture, a shadow, a glance that reveals the truth of the character.
These photographs are a visual memory of ephemeral art: traces of bodies that speak, of characters that vanish, of lights that tell stories.
