Abstract
This study examines the theme of theatricality in everyday life, drawing upon the contributions of Erving Goffman from the perspective of microsociology. Based on these insights, it offers a reflection on their conceptual applicability to the theater—specifically regarding the actor’s dramaturgy, the playwright’s dramaturgy, the direction of a production, and, ultimately, the work of the production team. Furthermore, it presents observations on a classic subject of debate: the relationship between the everyday (reality) and the artistic (the fictional).
