Abstract
Master Binoche has directed numerous plays in France and Latin American countries. Among his major contributions is his work with masks, carried out both in our region and in Europe. He has shared his expertise through courses and workshops focused on mask construction and the actor's work with masks. This researcher and educator from the Paris School of Dramatic Art participated in the International Arts Festival in Cali (September 1999) and spent two weeks working on mask-based acting in the workshop titled "The Self and the Character." During breaks, we were able to learn more about his life and his relationship with the mask in theatrical work.
