Abstract
A Look at the Theatrical Character offers a cartographic journey along the paths that the theatrical character has traversed throughout Western history—from the origins of theater in Greece to the present day. This exploration allows the reader to situate the various ways in which the character has manifested, while considering the contexts in which it has interacted. Furthermore, it highlights the significance of the intersections between the arts and the sciences—crossings that occur today and serve to enrich artistic creation.
