Abstract
When the decision was made to select dramaturgy as the monographic theme for the seventh issue of the Faculty of Performing Arts' annual journal, the prevailing discussion surrounding the subject was a key consideration—a debate characterized by a crisis in dramaturgy and intense tensions between traditional or classical forms of dramatic writing and new writing trends that blur and expand conceptual and aesthetic boundaries.
