Abstract
An actress with a distinguished career, an educator, and a theater director, Aída Fernández accepts this invitation from Papel Escena to reflect on the concept of "actor's dramaturgy," drawing upon her extensive experience. As an organizer and founder—alongside other key figures in the local theater scene—of the movement known as "New Colombian Theater" (characterized by the "Collective Creation" methodology), Aída Fernández has dedicated her life to the craft. This journey has allowed her to mature her vision regarding the practice of theater and the experience of participating in an art form that demands, above all else, unwavering dedication. What follows are her reflections.
