Abstract
During the recent 10th Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá, we had the opportunity to participate in a pedagogy workshop led by Luigi María Musati—who served for over twenty years as director of Italy’s Silvio D'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art and, among other roles, as a guest director for Medellín’s Matacandelas Group for their production of *Medea*. The workshop drew a diverse group of people interested in theater training processes: some were seasoned educators, while many others—myself included—had only recently "switched sides," leaving our seats at the desks to pick up the chalk, so to speak.
