Abstract
The tragedy of everyday life clings to the human realm. Humanity and tragedy form a duo inherent to reality. I know that art acts as a conduit for monsters—and I am not the one saying this; a long line of exorcists of the human soul has said it before. "We do not try to save anyone," says a poet; "we plunge them neck-deep into their problems so that they can decide what to do—I merely write; the rest is my fault."
