Abstract

On September 1, 2010, the play *Oc Ye Nechca*—written by Mexican playwright Jaime Chabaud and directed by Colombian director Fernando Vidal—premiered. The production was a collaboration between the company Teatro La Carreta (based in Santiago, Chile) and the group Teatro de la Ciudad (based in Santiago de Cali, Colombia). The project received support from Iberescena, a fund designed to foster the regional development of the performing arts by facilitating co-productions between companies from its Ibero-American member countries.
